SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2005  DOUBLE SWEAT EQUITY PROJECTS!

COMMUNITY SERVICE DIRECTOR MELODY TIMINSKY organized double doable projects.

PLANO CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER <LINK> needed bushes trimmed, windows and porches washed, weeds pulled and trash picked up. JP John Payton furnished several dozen teen-ages Community Service Volunteers and they attacked the project "en masse".

Warner Richeson was a good clip artist. Melody Timinsky put the early arrivals to work immediately.  John Payton gave a special cleaning to the Rotary Plaque and George Elking tried to sell Oktoberfest Raffle Tickets.

HOUSE ON PARKHAVEN needed minor repairs and the woodwork scraped and painted. Five Rotarians started at 8:30 am, soon followed by a dozen more.  Some family and friends came by and then several Community Volunteers from the Clinic Project that finished mid-morning lent a hand.
