NO PROGRAM TODAY, just a Club Assembly to talk about Oktoberfest.
ACTING SGT-AT-ARMS DOUG RAY fined Secretary Randy Plumlee, who was trying to introduce VISITING ROTARIANS  Doyle Dean [Education Senior High] from the Plano Rotary Club and Ken Crawford [Clergy] from the Allen Rotary Club.

ABSENT WERE Doug Bicknell, Matt Brown, Reeves Davis, George Elking, Skip Jenkins, Glenn Justice, Ken Lambert, Colin Light, Juergen Mahneke, David Marks, David McCall, Matt Moore, John Payton, Darrin Pennartz, John Roach, Greg Rushin, Richard Wells, Don Wilhelmus and Jane Wyen.

ACTING SGT-AT-ARMS DOUG RAY exhibited the gross Bumbling Ineptitude that was characteristic of his reign as President.  He tried to fine Bill Wray because he found his temporary badge in the badge box and assumed Bill forgot to put it on. Bill was wearing his new, real badge on his belt but paid the two-bit fine anyway.
BLOOD DRIVE CHAIRTHING TOM RODGERS reminded us of a blood drive on the three Collin County Community College Campuses on June 26 and sent sign-up sheets around. The Battle of the Badges Blood drive will have a float in the 4th of July Parade and the blood lines will be drawn between the Police and Fire Departments on July 12, 13, 14.
HENDRIX ACADEMY SPOKESPERSON STEVE BLAIR hustled shooters for the annual shot gun blasting.  Entry Fee is $300.

PRESIDENT ROD ACCEPTED A BANNER from a member who visited the Monroe, Louisiana Rotary Club last week.  Their program was one of supporting our troops who are in harm's way through the web page <http://www.anysoldier.com> They especially support soldiers who get little or no mail.

OKTOBERFEST CHAIRTHING07 IS RANDY PLUMLEE and he had lots of information and reports from committee members.  We will be long term partners with Children's Medical Center Legacy [Plano] and will raise more than $200,000 for them over the next 5 years as well as provide volunteers. The theme will be "Giving our Hearts" and here's a <LINK> to many possibilities.

POLITELY LEAVING EARLY was Yvonne Hanks, who gave us a profile view of our next Honorary Member, Hunter Hanks who will drop in on us in July.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCES with services from Children's were reiterated by Chris Roach, Sharon Lewis, Judy Jackson and Randy Plumlee.
PRESIDENT ROD received a Children's Medical Center hard hat and paid a fine for the privilege.

SGT-AT-ARMS DOUG fined Judy Jackson and Pat Hite spoke.
