THERE WAS NO MEETING TODAY.  It was moved to last night for the Installation of Officers and Directors for the new Rotary Year beginning July 1, 2007.  Past President Rod showed up Friday morning one more time to catch members who forgot the meeting was moved and to provide a makeup courtesy for visiting Rotarians.  However, no one showed up, which is unusual.

ABSENT WERE Matt Brown, Yvonne Hanks, Eric Hartter, Skip Jenkins, Glenn Justice, Ken Lambert, Sharon Lewis, Juergen Mahneke, Bud McBrayer, David McCall, Don Mellor, Bill Moore, Bill Neukranz, John Payton, Bill Peterson, Chris Roach, Tom Rodgers, Greg Rushin,  Shep Stahel, Jim Stroup, Bob Warren, Richard Wells and Jane Wyen.

CHIEF RUSHIN SAID THAT THOSE WHO CELEBRATE THE FOURTH WITH A FIFTH, may not come forth on the fifth.

AS USUAL, TINO'S PROVIDED AN EXCELLENT REPAST FOR OUR MEETING.

SCENES FROM THE FESTIVITIES: Youngest guest was Libby Bicknell, watched over by mother Tammy Bicknell and stand-in Grandmother Maureen Dobbins. Scott Villines tried to sneak in the traditional rabbit ears for his family portrait. Several winged pigs show  that "When pigs can Fly," we will have some leadership.  Judy Jackson, John Roach and David and Sondra Daniels had an animated conversation.

SOON TO BE PAST PRESIDENT ROD gonged the bell one more time and called the meeting to order.  He recognized his Board of Directors and installed President Richard Biggers and passed on to him the winged pig and ROTOPIG, our fine porcine.

PRESIDENT RICHARD
recognized most of his Board of Directors.  He missed two [who were present] and has failed to fill an empty slot.

SGT-AT-ARMS DOUG CARGO [Past and Present] fined President Richard for malfeasance in office, bumbling ineptitude and mumbling mediocrity.
GOLF CHAIRTHING STEVE BLAIR announced that tomorrow's Golf Tournament was postponed due to rain and the muddy course, but that he still had the tee times and any of the 13 players who wanted to play anyway could be at Twin Hills at 9 am in the morning.

PRESIDENT RICHARD presented Past-President Rod with a gavel Plaque and the coveted Past-President's Pin and gonged the meeting to a close.
