RAMONE AND RENE, dressed in Christmas colors, dished up plenty of food for the sparse attendees so that President Richard the 2nd could elegantly and efficiently conduct the meeting.


SECRETARY CHRIS ROACH introduced the ONLY visitor. She was Sue Yang, wife of the speaker.

SECRETARY CHRIS gave a few thoughts on the Christmas Season.  Robert Paul said: "I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas with a note on it saying, 'Toys not included' ".  Shirley Temple said: "I stopped believing in Santa Clause when my mother took me to see him in a department store and he asked for MY autograph."

SECRETARY CHRIS presented our newest member, Jennifer Smith, with her official membership badge.  It was a fine moment for her and ROTOPIG.

JOINT CHRISTMAS PARTY on Wednesday, December 5th with Plano Rotary at 7 pm at Glen Eagles Country Club <LINK>.  Bring a new child's coat for the Christmas Cops Coat Project.  Paul Huang's children will be providing the musical entertainment for the evening. Cost for members will be covered by the Club, but there will be a charge of $38 for guests. The Prez passed around sign-up sheets.

at the London Bridge Lake Havasu City Rotary Club <LINK> in Arizona. To honor the reconstruction of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu and provide a fund raising vehicle for the many charitable and community projects of the London Bridge Rotary Club, the club sponsored the release of the first "Havasu Dollar" in October 1971. Each October since then, a new London Bridge Rotary Commemorative Coin has been released during London Bridge Days, the annual anniversary celebration of the dedication of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City.

TODAY'S PROGRAM, introduced by acting Program Chairthing Paul Huang, was Dr. Kim Yang who is the Senior Formulation Scientist for Central Life Sciences, Inc. <LINK>.  He talked about improving memory and understanding age-related memory loss. He gave 10 ways to maintain good memory and 9 ways to improve the memory you have. As is our custom, a book was donated in the speaker's name to the Nellie McCall Library at the David McCall Elementary School and duly signed by him. The book was "A First Book All About You: Eyes, Nose, Fingers and Toes"  by Candlewick Pr <LINK>.
