SECRETARY-ELECT-TREASURER Pat Hite and breakfast dispenser Rene appear overworked as they go about their tasks with no help.

FORMER SGT-AT-ARMS KEN LAMBERT
noted that Acting President Randy Plumlee had lined him up to do the Prayer along with Robert Posner for the Pledge and Steve Dippel for the 4-Way Test. President-Elect Randy had failed to know that Sgt-at-Arms Doug was doing his job and already had people lined up for the opening ceremonies.  Randy paid for his crimes with a two-bit fine to ROTOPIG.

SECRETARY-ELECT PAT HITE introduced Doyle Dean [Education-Senior High] from the Plano Rotary Club and proposed and approved member Mark Rhodes, guest of Pat Hite.

ABSENT WERE Joyce Baumbach, Steve Blair, Richard Biggers, Richard Butterly, Rick Chron, David Daniels, Reeves Davis, Yvonne Hanks, Ray Hopper, Judy Jackson, Bill Moore, Danny Morris, John Payton, Bill Peterson, John Roach, Brenda Rogers, Greg Rushin, Richard Wells and Don Wilhelmus.

PRESIDENT RICHARD was absent and made no provision to get ROTOPIG to the meeting, causing the Sgt-at-Arms to have to fall back on one of the Junior Pigs.

PRESIDENT-ELECT RANDY PLUMLEE called for announcements.  Blood Drive Chairthing Tom Rodgers noted that the recent drive at Collin Creek Mall netted 65 units, pushing us over 1000 units credited to our Club.  Sign up sheets for the Wednesday, Feb 13 Rotary Campus challenge are being circulated. All ten Rotary Clubs in Collin County are participating at three CCCCD campuses.  Scott Villines reminded us that Photographer Bill will be taking mug shots before the meeting on the 15th. David Marks looked for volunteers to greet the troops at DFW tomorrow. Rod Hogan had a sign up sheet for those going to the Thursday Rotary Club on the 31st to hear Mayor Pat Evans give a "State of the City" report.

TODAY'S PROGRAM, introduced by 1st Qtr Program Chairperson Michelle Robbins, were teachers and students for the Deaf Program in the PISD.  Teachers were David Larrabee, Lauren Canfield and Mary Steen.  Students were Naomi Rap, Aaron Young, Talayah Bishop and Colin Clemons who demonstrated their talents and training to several rounds of silent applause.

AS IS OUR CUSTOM, a book was donated to the Nellie McCall Library at  David McCall Elementary and signed by  the students. The book was about Helen Keller.
