TODAY'S MEETING WAS CANCELLED BY PRESIDENT RICHARD THE 2ND due to threat of icy roads, blowing snow and freezing temperatures.  Also, the speaker canceled and the Birthday Celebration and Library Book presentation were called off. One librarian from Mendenhall Elementary did show up.  Sgt-at-Arms Doug Cargo came and went back home.  Secretary-Elect Pat Hite came by very early and no one was here so he automatically went to Poor Richard's Cafe.

 

PRESIDENT RICHARD II and Bulletin Iditor Terry showed up to see who showed up.  Behind the camera was Photographer Bill Neukranz who came to take pictures anyway.

MEMBERS AND ONE VISITING ROTARIAN who showed up were directed to go across the street to Poor Richard's Cafe <LINK>.

VISITING ROTARIAN was Luis Crespo [Business Consultant] from the Dallas Evening Rotary Club.
 

KEN LAMBERT AND STEVE DIPPEL took their regular table near Glenn Justice and his wife. The rest of the gang, including the visitor, were seated together. Present were Robert Posner, Bob Warren, Eric Hartter, Pat Hite, Warner Richeson, Randy Plumlee, Colin Light, Richard Wells, Bill Neukranz, Don Mellnor and Terry Dobbins.

LAST NIGHT'S 1ST OKTOBERFEST MEETING at the Bavarian Grill was also cancelled but President Richard II didn't read his email and showed up anyway.  He and Juergen had a good time.

REMEMBER THAT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME STARTS this Sunday.  That will put next week's meeting back in the dark,
