MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS. Joyce Baumbach noted that everyone had an envelope with Tickets to sell. Rod Hogan reminded us to donate stuff for auction items. Tom Rodgers noted that we had 10-12 vehicles in the 4th of July parade and that 39 pints of blood had been collected. Richard Butterly said that he would cater next week's breakfast from Poor Richard's Cafe <LINK> for his birthday celebration.
TODAY'S PROGRAM, introduced by Joyce Baumbach for Michelle Robbins, was Army Captain Brad Parker. He is the Plano Recruiting Company Commander. He has served on combat duty in Afghanistan and is looking forward to returning. Our presence there is working. He has seen streets that used to require full combat gear to traverse become a safe place to play soccer in t-shirts. As is our custom, a book was donated to the Nellie McCall Library at the David McCall Elementary School in the speakers name and duly signed by him. the Book was "Captain Duck".

President Richard Biggers, Membership Director Brenda Rogers and Community
Service Director Doug Cargo. Tourists were Bill Neukranz, Becky Perry, David
Marks, George Elking, John Roach, Shep Stahel and Richard Butterly.
District Governor L. B. Showalter wants all clubs to use the Club
Runner Program on the District Web site. Classification talks are going to
start up again. ADG Courtney Tanner will be the program next week. God's
Food Pantry needs some help. August 20th Health Fare needs 4 people to work
8:30am-1 pm. President-Elect Pat looking into RILI. Warner Richeson will do
shirts and hats again. International Director Bill Moore will be
taking leftover books on August 2nd. Oktoberfest Committee meeting weekly on
Thursday at 5:30 pm at the Bavarian Grill. |

THIRD QUARTER DUES are delinquent. Veterinarian Yvonne Hanks is the new Treasurer and if you don't pay up, she may "sic" some animal on you. |
