LATE ARRIVING RICHARD WELLS is accosted by Judy Jackson and presented with his Oktoberfest sponsorship packet and then accosted by ROTOPIG and Sgt-at-Arms Scott Villines and presented with his badge.

LUCKY GUESTS, introduced by Secretary Joyce Baumbach, was Mary Pervis from Edward Jones and Company. She was the guest of Colin Light.

PRESIDENT RANDY LOST CONTROL of the meeting as a herd of people came in to announce that our own Richard Butterly has been named Small Business Person of the Year by the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

PRESIDENT RANDY CALLED FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS. Colin Light talked about packing books for South Africa. Jennifer Smith talked about a corrected sponsor letter for the packets and Richard Butterly hustled us to hustle Restaurants for gift coupons for Oktoberfest.

TODAY'S PROGRAM, introduced by David Marks, was Patrick Sowers from Operation Once in a Lifetime. It was started 15 months ago and the proceeds benefit the troops. The store is located at 2540 Ave K-#200 in the old Plano resale store. They need items and money. As is our custom, a book was donated to the Nellie McCall Library at the David McCall Elementary School in the speaker's name and duly signed by him. The book was "Nine Magic Wishes."
