PRESIDENT RANDY CALLED FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS. Richard Biggers urged us to turn in auction items and tickets sold. Mabrie Jackson called for last minute cash for Geek Week as she was going shopping at the Microsoft Store. Richard Butterly announced that planning meetings for Thanksgiving for the less fortunate have started. Judy Jackson announced that the next few weeks of auction item donations will be Bath and Beauty week. Joyce said that she and Klaus will be at the storage building in the morning from 9-11 am to start on the book project for South Africa.
POLITELY LEAVING EARLY were Richard Butterly at 7:38 am and Doyle Dean at 7:42 am.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MET AT 8AM AFTER THE REGULAR MEETING. Present were Randy Plumlee, Pat Hite, Rick Chron, Joyce Baumbach, Richard Biggers, Brenda Rogers, Sharon Lewis, Scott Villines, Warner Richeson, Robert Posner, Doug Cargo, George Elwell, Rod Hogan and Terry Dobbins. Tourists were George Elking, Ray Hopper, David Marks, Bud McBrayer, Gordon Beach, Doug Ray and Richard Wells. Absent were Treasurer Yvonne Hanks, Club Projects Egrod Sore and International Service Bill Moore, who is traveling internationally for four weeks. David Marks is going to look into a Golf Tournament with Relief Nursery of Collin County for a possible Spring Fund raiser. He already has a major sponsor and advice from a similar event being held Oct 19th. Camp Enterprise is Sept 19-20 and we are sponsoring two students. Planning meetings are starting for Thanksgiving at Poor Richard's Cafe for the less fortunate. Plano Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon, Thursday, September 25th where our own Richard Butterly will be awarded the Small Business Person of the Year Award. We will sponsor a table of 10 @ $25 each and members attending will reimburse the club. District Governor's African School Project asking for $208 in 2008 will be met by passing the hat plus matching funds from the ROTOPIG Foundation. President Elect Pat Hite plans to attend RILI October 25-26th. Warner Richeson is shopping for a better sound system that we can afford and planning to order a new batch of Blue Club Shirts [$36] from an outfit in Frisco and will bring samples soon. George Elwell said that Classification talks had been going well until today. Camp RYLA is October 31st. Proposed for membership and approved for
