THERE WAS NO MEETING TODAY. The Bulletin Editor and Colin Light showed up to see if anyone would show up, but no one did. Colin went on to Poor Richard's Cafe to see if there was any turkey left over from yesterday and the Bulletin Editor took a hike on the Chisholm Trail South.

THANKSGIVING AT Poor Richard's Cafe. More than 200 volunteers helped Richard serve over 2000 meals to the less fortunate on Thanksgiving Day. About 980 meals were served in the Cafe in three seatings. between 10:45 am and 1:45 pm. The rest of the meals were delivered by off duty Police and Firemen from McKinney, Allen, Wylie, Plano and the Sheriff's Department. They went to individuals on the Meals on Wheels routes while bulk deliveries were made to local shelters. Several Rotary Clubs had members helping out. Present from our club were Joyce Baumbach, Gordon Beach, Richard Biggers, Steve Blair, Richard Butterly, Rick Chron, Steve Dippel, Terry Dobbins, George Elking, George Elwell, Ray Hopper, Paul Huang, Judy Jackson, Mabrie Jackson, Colin Light Juergen Mahneke, David Marks, Bud McBrayer, Don Mellor, Art Papathanasiou, Doug Ray, Michelle Robbins, Jennifer Smith, Bob Warren and Richard Wells.

CHRISTMAS PARTY with the Thursday Club will be Wednesday, December 10th at the Love and War in Texas Restaurant on Central at Plano Parkway starting at 6 pm. The cost is approximately $30 per person. Notify Randy ASAP if you and guests will be attending.
